Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 24 -- HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has bagged the prestigious SKOCH Award 2025 (Silver) in the Healthcare category for its pioneering Affordable Medicines and Reliable Implants for Treatment (AMRIT) Pharmacies initiative.
Instituted as India's highest independent civilian honour, the SKOCH Award recognises transformative projects and institutions that deliver meaningful socio-economic impact through innovation, governance, and service excellence.
Launched in 2015 by then union Health Minister J.P. Nadda, the AMRIT Pharmacies were designed to make life-saving medicines and implants affordable for the public.
