Bengaluru, Aug. 9 -- Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil today launched a strong attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI), alleging largescale irregularities in the electoral rolls and claiming that over one lakh votes had been "stolen" in the state. Speaking to media here, Patil described the alleged malpractice as far more serious than ordinary electoral misconduct. "It is not just a theft, it is a dacoity.
