Lucknow, Dec. 6 -- The Uttar Pradesh excise revenue has registered a significant 15.59 per cent increase during the financial year 2025-26.
State Minister of State for Excise (Independent Charge), Nitin Agarwal, stated here on Saturday that until November 2025, the state has earned a revenue of Rs. 35,144.11 crore, which is Rs. 4,741.77 crore more than the Rs. 30,402.34 crore earned during the same period last year.
This represents a 15.59 percent increase. The department has performed exceptionally well, achieving 92.73 percent of the target of Rs. 37,900 crore.
