Hyderabad, Feb. 12 -- Senior Professor Kumar Molugaram, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University, on Thursday called upon historians and researchers to move beyond nation-centric narratives and adopt inclusive, transnational perspectives to better understand shared global experiences.
Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day international conference titled "Emerging Global Trends in Historical Research and Pedagogy: A Transnational Perspective," organised by the Department of History, University College of Arts and Social Sciences (UCA&SS), Prof Molugaram, the Chief Guest, said the discipline of history has evolved from traditional storytelling to deeper critical analysis and methodological innovation.
