Shimla, Sept. 10 -- His Holiness the Dalai Lama has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by the recent monsoon fury in Himachal Pradesh.
In a personal letter to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, His Holiness extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and those affected by the unprecedented rains, floods, and landslides.
"I would like to offer my prayers and condolences to you, to the families who have lost loved ones, and to everyone affected by this natural disaster," His Holiness wrote, acknowledging the gravity of the calamity that has disrupted lives across the hill state.
