Hamirpur, Oct. 26 -- In a joint press statement, Himfed's elected board members-Rakesh Thakur from Bhoranj Zone, Ravinder Patial from Hamirpur Zone, and Sohan Lal from Chamba Zone-made serious allegations against the Himfed Managing Director and Chief Manager of misusing government machinery and undermining the authority of the elected board.
They said that as per the Honorable Court's directives, the state government was ordered to appoint the Board Chairman and nominated members by June 30, 2025, with the condition that if the government failed to do so by the deadline, the Board Chairman would be selected from among the elected directors.
