Guwahati, July 19 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today said that Assam is fearlessly resisting ongoing unchecked Muslim infiltration from across the border which has caused an alarming demographic change and accused his counterpart in West Bengal of compromising Bengal's future-encouraging illegal encroachment by a particular community, appeasing one religious community for vote banks, and remaining silent for political gains.
