Ranchi, Nov. 17 -- The ongoing snowfall in the Himalayan states has begun to significantly affect weather conditions in Jharkhand, pushing the state into an early winter chill. Cold conditions typically felt in December have arrived in early November this year, with temperatures dipping sharply across several districts.
Mccluskieganj recorded the season's lowest temperature at 6degC on Sunday, marking an unusual drop for this time of year. In Ranchi and neighbouring areas, the morning and evening chill has intensified, while dense fog in rural regions has disrupted visibility and affected movement. Many districts have seen their minimum temperature slip below 10degC, adding to the severity of the early winter onset.
