Shimla, Dec. 19 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court has issued notice to the state government in a public interest litigation (PIL) alleging serious irregularities in the functioning of the Shri Mahamaya Bala Sundari Ji Temple Trust at Trilokpur in Sirmaur district.
The PIL, titled Bharat Singh and others versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others , was taken up by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice G.S. Sandhawalia and Justice Jiya Lal Bhardwaj.
The petitioners have accused the official respondents of misusing temple trust employees for personal work and highlighted alleged financial mismanagement within the trust .
