Dharamshala/ New Delhi, March 13 -- A total of 86,093 patients were treated in Himachal Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) during the financial year 2024-25, union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav informed the Rajya Sabha.
Responding to a query from Rajya Sabha MP Indu Bala Goswami, the minister said that Mandi district recorded the highest number of beneficiaries with 19,233 patients treated, while Lahaul-Spiti reported the lowest figure with 504 patients during the period.
According to district-wise data shared in Parliament, 5,430 patients were treated in Bilaspur, 3,744 in Chamba, 6,978 in Hamirpur, 14,573 in Kangra, 778 in Kinnaur, 7,737 in Kullu, 504 in Lahaul-Spiti, 19,233 in...
