Shimla, March 16 -- Fresh snowfall on the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh has brought winter-like conditions back to several tourist resorts, giving a much-needed boost to the hospitality industry that has been struggling due to a weak winter season.
A light sheet of snow covered several popular tourist destinations, drawing large numbers of visitors towards Rohtang Pass, Narkanda, Hatu Peak, Khadrala and Kalpa. Tourists were seen making a beeline for these high-altitude locations to witness the late spell of snowfall during the fading winter season.
The fresh snowfall also occurred on prominent mountain ranges including Rohtang Pass, the Lady of Keylong range, the Dhauladhar hills, Manimahesh, Kinner Kailash and Churdhar peaks. The sn...
