Dharamshala, June 12 -- The administration has made it mandatory to register drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with the police before operating them in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner said.
The directive, aimed at ensuring public safety and security, mandates that individuals, institutions, organisations, and government agencies using drones must register their UAVs within the next seven days at their respective police stations. Drones purchased in the future must also be registered within seven days from the date of purchase.
