Dharamshala, Oct. 3 -- Hem Raj Bairwa, Deputy Commissioner of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, today appealed to all citizens of the district to extend full cooperation in the ongoing National Sample Survey (NSS) being conducted under the directions of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
He stated that various socio-economic surveys are regularly conducted to collect data on multiple indicators, and at the district level, this work is undertaken by the staff of the Economics and Statistics Department.
