Himachal: Ban on carrying weapons during Holi celebrations in Sujanpur from March 1 to 4

Hamirpur (HP), Feb. 25 -- The district administration has issued an order banning carrying of all sorts of weapons to maintain law & order and prevent any untoward incident during the national-level Holi celebrations to be held in Sujanpur from March 1 to 4 in the entire Sujanpur Municipal Council area during the festival period.

Himachal Pradesh Chief MInister S S Sukhu is likely to inaugurate the national level fair, said an official spokesman here today.

Issuing the order under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS), District Magistrate Gandharva Rathore stated that this ban will be in effect in the Sujanpur Municipal Council area from March 1 to 4. Strict action will be taken against those violating the ban.
