Shimla, Jan. 13 -- Light clouds and fog continued to overcast the skies across Himachal Pradesh, while weather conditions remained largely dry during the past 24 hours.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from January 15, triggering four days of bad weather between January 16 and 19, with rain and snowfall expected at higher elevations.
Fog was reported in lower hills and plains, particularly around Paonta Sahib and Sundernagar, and dense fog is likely over isolated pockets during late night and early morning hours over the next few days.
