Hamirpur (HP), April 15 -- Amidst strong steps taken by the state government and the district administration both to contain the COVID-19, the Hamirpur district, one of the sparsely populated district, is currently facing the wrath of the dreaded virus due to the slackness on part of the people.
The situation has reached such a pass that the number of active cases has gone up to 564 by the night of Wednesday and that was a danger signal for all.
There were sixty-six new positive cases in the district till Wednesday night. The number of dead persons was 54 officially and fifty-five un-officially as one person lost his life at local hospital last night.
