Shimla, Nov. 26 -- Several key stations reported a sharp dip in minimum temperatures in Himachal Pradesh as the cold wave intensified.
According to the morning weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, Tabo in Lahaul-Spiti recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at minus 6.8degC, signalling the deepening winter chill in the high-altitude tribal belt.
In the popular tourist town of Manali, the minimum temperature settled at 1.1degC, indicating a fresh surge of cold across the Kullu valley. Shimla, the state capital, recorded a low of 6.6degC, while Sundernagar and Mandi registered 3.0degC and 5.6degC respectively.
