Shimla, March 22 -- Taking an exemplary action to strengthen accountability, transparency and discipline, the Himachal Pradesh DGP has dismissed four police personnel from service for their alleged involvement in a serious narcotics trafficking case.
The Director General of Police Ashok Tiwari on Sunday issued orders to dismiss the personnel posted in the STF Kullu-Head Constable Rajesh Kumar, Head Constable Sameer Kumar, HHC Nitesh Kumar and Constable Ashok Kumar-from service.
DGP Tiwari stated that the Himachal Pradesh Police is working under a zero-tolerance policy against narcotics and corruption, which applies equally within the department.
