Shimla, Nov. 12 -- Achieving another milestone in the field of industrial development, Himachal Pradesh has been declared a 'Top Achiever' in the Business Reforms Action Plan-2024, implemented by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India.
This honour was awarded to the state for its outstanding performance in construction permit enablers, the health sector, and the services sector. Himachal achieved this feat by scoring 98 percent out of 100.
The award was presented by union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal at Udyog Samagam-2025, and was received on behalf of the state by Principal Resident Commissioner Ajay Yadav and General Manager, District Industries Centre, Sirmaur, Rachit Sharma.
