Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 21 -- The acclaimed Kerala model of community-based palliative care is set to be implemented across Himachal Pradesh, with the northern hill state deciding to roll out the programme in all its Assembly constituencies.

A high-level delegation from Himachal Pradesh, comprising Health Minister, Health Secretary, and the National Health Mission (NHM) Director, recently visited Kerala to study its pioneering system of community-driven palliative care.

The team toured palliative care units in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam districts to gain firsthand experience of the model's functioning.
