Shimla, Jan. 10 -- Amid growing public concern over safety following repeated incidents of ground instability, Himachal Pradesh Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh visited Chalonti on the Dhalli-Sanjauli bypass, where cracks have appeared in two residential houses and a hospitality unit situated above an under-construction four-lane tunnel by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The Minister was accompanied by SDM (Rural) Manjit Sharma, the Additional Deputy Commissioner and Additional District Magistrate, Shimla. NHAI Project Director Anand Sharma was also present at the site.
