Palampur, Jan. 7 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has launched the NAKSHA programme to digitise urban land records using advanced technology and IT tools.
The initiative aims to make records more accurate, modern, and transparent, supporting planned urban development and streamlining property-related processes.
In this context, a key meeting of councillors was held on Tuesday with the Deputy Mayor and the Municipal Commissioner of Palampur Municipal Corporation.
It was decided that awareness and information dissemination programmes would begin across various wards of Palampur from Wednesday.
