Shimla, Oct. 29 -- Many residents of Himachal Pradesh have unclaimed financial assets - including dormant bank accounts, insurance policies, mutual funds, shares, and divident which have remained inactive for many years. These accounts will now be reviewed to trace the rightful owners or their heirs, and the funds will be returned to them through a formal claims process.
An official spokesman said today, "Now your lost money will be returned to you. Many people have had financial assets such as bank accounts, insurance policies, mutual funds, shares, and dividends lying dormant for years, unclaimed."The process of identifying such dormant accounts and assets and returning them to their rightful owners has begun in Himachal Pradesh.
