Shimla, Jan. 5 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has formally rolled out the School Cluster System across the state, marking a major reform aimed at addressing the long-standing issue of isolated and low-enrolment schools, particularly in rural and remote areas.

The initiative seeks to ensure equitable access to quality education for every child, irrespective of location or the size of individual schools.

Under the new system, each senior secondary school has been designated as a flagship or hub school, with seven to eight nearby primary, middle and high schools placed under its administrative control.
