Shimla, Oct. 30 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court has intervened in a fresh controversy surrounding the only temple of Devta Aadi Bharama in Kullu, after its Kardar (traditional caretaker) alleged interference by the local administration in temple management and rituals.

Hearing a contempt plea filed by the Kardar, Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kullu to file a reply within a week over alleged violation of earlier court orders that had clearly defined the control and financial handling of the temple.
