Shimla, Sept. 2 -- In a landmark ruling reinforcing the sanctity of public recruitment norms, the Himachal Pradesh High Court has quashed the appointment of an Assistant Professor in Agricultural Biotechnology at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur.
Justice Sandeep Sharma, delivering an oral judgment, held that the selection committee had acted beyond its authority by altering the advertised qualifications midway through the recruitment process.
