Shimla, Dec. 24 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday granted bail to IAS officer Harikash Meena, one of the accused in the alleged abetment to suicide case of HPPCL Chief Engineer.
A single bench of Justice Virender Singh confirmed the bail after pronouncing its decision on Meena's bail application, on which orders had earlier been reserved.
The court allowed Meena's release on bail, subject to conditions to be imposed by the competent court, while directing him to continue cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The case relates to the mysterious death of Vimal Negi, a senior officer of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL), who went missing from the corporation's New Shimla office in March this year. His body wa...
