Shimla, Sept. 5 -- On the occasion of Teachers' Day, a state-level function was organized at Peter Hoff, Shimla, where Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla conferred State Awards upon 19 teachers and honoured one teacher with the National Award for 2024.
For the first time, awards were also presented to 19 teachers from colleges and technical education institutions, along with Certificates of Excellence.
While addressing the gathering, the Governor extended warm greetings to the teaching fraternity and congratulated the award-winning teachers for their dedication and service in strengthening the education system across Himachal Pradesh, even in remote and challenging terrains.
