Shimla, Jan. 19 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today chaired a meeting of senior officers of the Health Department and directed them that patients visiting government health institutions be provided with quality medicines.
He said the state government would soon invite tenders worth approximately Rs 100 crore for the procurement of medicines and ensure the participation of reputed pharmaceutical companies.
The Chief Minister stated that medicines would be procured directly from manufacturers to make world-class drugs available to patients at government health institutions across the state.
