Kangra, July 20 -- BJP National Working Council member Pawan Kajal today described "as a bad joke" the Himachal Pradesh government's new recruitment system, alleging the move was only meant to "deceive the unemployed".
Addressing the closing ceremony of the three-day sports fair, organised by Baba Kalyan Das Club and Shiv Shakti Yuva Club in Bhadiyada, Kajal said the administration has now decided to give government jobs on a trainee basis instead of contract and outsourcing.
The BJP leader, also the MLA from Kangra, said under the scheme, one will have to serve as a trainee for two years and then clear an examination to get regularised as a government employee.
