Kangra, March 24 -- Himachal Pradesh has earmarked Rs 20 crore in the state budget for the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said.
Addressing a gathering at the Government Senior Secondary School, Rajol yesterday, Pathania said the funds would be utilised to implement various programmes through the Appropriate Technology Centres (ATCs) established across the state.
He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, stating that the allocation would provide a fresh impetus to science, innovation and environmental awareness in Himachal Pradesh.
