Shimla, Aug. 8 -- In an effort to ensure academic continuity and improve learning outcomes in government schools, the Himachal Pradesh government is considering a policy to prevent teachers from retiring in the middle of an academic session, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh announced today.
The CM made the announcement while addressing a formal ceremony in Shimla, where appointment letters were handed over to 312 newly selected drawing teachers.
The Chief Minister highlighted that mid-session retirements often cause disruption in classroom teaching, affecting students' academic progress.
