Dharamshala, Nov. 20 -- The Himachal Pradesh government is being bombarded with queries as more than 600 questions have reached the Assembly Secretariat for the upcoming winter session of the State Legislative Assembly.
All submissions were received online and are now being sent to departments for replies. With the deadline for starred and unstarred questions expiring at 11:59 p.m. tonight, officials estimate the total number may cross 700.
The winter session, scheduled from November 26 to December 5 at Tapovan, Dharamshala, will be the longest in the Assembly's history. A majority of the questions focus on disaster management and relief measures following the widespread destruction caused by last monsoon's natural calamities.
