Shimla, May 24 -- The Himachal Pradesh Government has welcomed the High Court's decision to hand over the mysterious death case of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) chief engineer Vimal Negi to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This comes just days after the state had opposed such a probe before the court.
In a statement, Principal Media Advisor to the Chief Minister, Naresh Chauhan, clarified that the state government had always acted in accordance with the wishes of Vimal Negi's family and would continue to do so.
