Shimla (HP), Oct. 4 -- The Himachal Pradesh government is all set to promote dairy farming and its related activities in the state to help the farmers to stand on their feet.
The Himachal government is continuously striving to provide purebred animals to livestock farmers and to modernize and create employment-oriented dairy sectors.
The state's first Murrah breeding and dairy farm has been established in Barnoh, Una district. Nine purebred Murrah buffaloes have been brought in for initial operations at this farm, built with the joint cooperation of the central and state governments. This farm is going to change the lifestyle of the people dealing with animal husbandry business in the state.
