Nahan (Himachal Pradesh), June 4 -- The Sirmaur police have solved a blind murder case within 48 hours, arresting the accused, Manish Kumar, a friend of the victim, from Punjab's Amritsar.

On May 30, a young man named Jitendra was found critically injured in the Paalis area of Kala Amb. He was rushed to a Nahan hospital and later referred to a higher medical centre due to his deteriorating condition, police said.

Jitendra succumbed to his injuries on June 2 at Ojas Hospital in Chandigarh. Following this, murder charges under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) were added.
