Shimla, March 27 -- Amid sharp exchanges in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday asserted that his government would take stringent action against the mafia networks and corruption, declaring that "no criminal, however powerful, will be spared".

Replying to a cut motion on demands for grants for the Police and allied departments, the Chief Minister said the government was pursuing a policy of zero tolerance against drug trafficking, illegal mining and organised crime.
