Dharamshala, Dec. 20 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today said that the state government would strongly oppose the union Government's decision to abolish the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), terming it an injustice to the poor.
He said MGNREGA has been the world's largest employment scheme and proved to be a lifeline for people, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
