Shimla, Jan. 2 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today, directed the Revenue Department to expedite the disposal of long-pending land and revenue-related cases, setting March 31 as the deadline for clearing all correction-related matters.
Chairing a high-level meeting on revenue issues, the Chief Minister instructed that from January 5 all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars will hear land partition (taksim) cases on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This, he said, would ensure at least 12 hearing days each month and help in the time-bound resolution of such cases.
