Shimla, Aug. 12 -- Strengthening the historic ties between India and Bhutan, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today handed over 5,000 Chilgoza seedlings to the Royal Government of Bhutan as a goodwill gesture from the people of the state.
A delegation from the Kingdom of Bhutan, led by Deputy Chief of Mission at the Royal Bhutanese Embassy Tashi Peldon and Minister Counselor Chimi Wangmo, called on the Chief Minister here and discussed matters of mutual interest, including the long-standing agreement of friendship between the two nations.
