Shimla, April 2 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated in the state assembly that future Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) contracts will be awarded strictly based on contractors' technical and financial capacity.
The move comes amid mounting delays and stalled road projects across the state, with several stretches, particularly in hill terrains, lagging far behind schedule.
