Shimla, Nov. 29 -- Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta on Saturday chaired a winter preparedness review meeting at Dharamshala, directing all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Deputy Commissioners, who joined the meeting virtually, to ensure comprehensive arrangements ahead of the expected snow and rainfall during this season.
He instructed all concerned departments to remain on high alert to station snow-clearing machinery at strategic locations to avoid public inconvenience during heavy snowfall.
