Shimla, March 10 -- After experiencing mainly dry and warm weather for the past three days, Himachal Pradesh is set to witness a significant shift in weather conditions.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a major spell of rain, hailstorms, thunderstorms, and snowfall across the state from March 14 to 15. This inclement weather is expected to bring down temperatures, which have been above normal in most parts of the state.

Over the next 24 hours, the state is likely to experience light to moderate rain or snowfall in isolated places. While the weather is expected to remain mainly dry on March 11, conditions are predicted to deteriorate from March 12 onwards, with the inclement weather persisting until March 17.
