Shimla, Dec. 24 -- Signalling a strong policy push to harness youth energy and build a vibrant sporting ecosystem, the Himachal Pradesh government has placed sports at the centre of its youth development strategy, backed by major investments in infrastructure, enhanced incentives and assured career opportunities for sportspersons.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today said the state was moving decisively "from grassroots to global" to transform Himachal Pradesh into a leading sports hub while channelising young talent in a positive direction.
