Shimla, Sept. 2 -- The 12-day monsoon session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly concluded on Tuesday with Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania reporting 98 per cent productivity.

Briefing reporters, the Speaker said the House conducted 59 hours of business during the session, taking up 509 starred and 181 unstarred questions. Twelve discussions were held under Rule 62 and one under Rule 63. On non-official members' day, three resolutions were debated-two withdrawn and one adopted.

Through a government resolution under Rule 102, the Assembly urged the Centre to declare the recent natural calamity in Himachal Pradesh a national disaster. Six matters were discussed under Rule 130, while the House passed 11 bills and later withdrew one. Five issues ...
