Shimla, Sept. 9 -- A massive landslide in Shamani village of Ghatu Panchayat, Nirmand (Kullu), razed the house of two brothers, leaving four members of a family dead and a seven-year-old girl missing.
The incident occurred around 2:30 am last night when heavy debris from the hillside buried the house.
The deceased have been identified as Tripta Devi (wife of Shivram), son Chunni Lal, daughter-in-law Anjana Kumari, and grandson Bhopesh (5). Shivram's granddaughter Jagriti (7) remains missing. Shivram himself, his brother Dharamdas, and Dharamdas's wife, Kala Devi, were rescued with injuries and are undergoing treatment at Nirmand Hospital. Dharamdas's son survived, as he was not at home at the time.
