Shimla, May 20 -- The Himachal Pradesh High Court has directed the state government to swiftly address infrastructure issues hindering the road from Bhatta Kuffer to IGMC Phase-II and the development of Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialties (AIMSS), Chamiyana.
A division bench of Chief Justice G S Sandhawalia and Justice Ranjan Sharma passed these directions on May 14 while hearing a suo motu PIL (public interest litigation).
The court expressed concern over incomplete road widening due to unshifted electricity poles, pending land acquisition and poor inter-agency coordination. HPSEBL was asked to detail the number and location of poles needing relocation without disrupting power supply.
