Shimla, Dec. 22 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court today deferred hearing in a petition related to Gram Panchayat elections till December 30, directing the petitioner to file a rejoinder to the replies submitted by the State Government and the State Election Commission.
During the proceedings, counsel for the State of Himachal Pradesh and the State Election Commission informed the Court that their replies to the petition had already been filed.
Taking note of this, the Court granted time to the petitioner to submit a counter reply or rejoinder and clarified that arguments in the matter would be heard on the next date of hearing.
