Dharamshala, Jan. 4 -- Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania reviewed ongoing works of the Forest Department and the Public Works Department (PWD) and directed officials to accord top priority to completing all pending projects to ensure public convenience.
During the review meeting held on Friday, detailed discussions were held on the deteriorated condition of the McLeodganj road. PWD officials informed that repair work on the road has been undertaken continuously for nearly seven years, but frequent landslides have caused repeated damage. To find a permanent solution, it was decided that a geological team would conduct a site survey to suggest technically viable measures.
