Haveri, Dec. 5 -- A fresh controversy broke out at the CG Bellad Government First Grade College in Akki Alur village of Haveri district after groups of students entered classrooms wearing hijabs and saffron shawls, leading to renewed tensions on campus.

The episode has brought the dress-code debate back into focus in Karnataka's educational institutions.
